Make Your Home More Than a Night at The Theatre

Mom has her master bath, Dad has his man cave, kids have the playroom, and everyone has their space; everyone should be happy, right? It would seem that way, however the problem with this picture is that while everyone has their own private spaces, there is no real space specifically for being together. These days there’s a television in every single room in the house, and your family, if you’re not careful is fully capable of locking themselves all in separate rooms. It’s a scary thing to imagine that even when your family is all in the same house, which even that is a rarity these days. How did this happen? Well part of the issue is a simple use of space; you created all these spaces that cater to each person’s needs separately -so naturally, those spaces are used only for that person. Using that same thinking, if you create a space that is appealing to everyone in your family, everyone should want to use it. Think, “If you build it, they will come.” The kind of space that could fulfill this criteria? A home theatre. A home theatre is a space that can accommodate everyone; watch the big game together, watch a great family film together, eat popcorn in big comfy chairs together. Key word in all this? Together. Many might cite their lack of family space on a basic lack of actual space for a home theatre. However, many will find that space in their basements. Past all the old clothing, boxes of things you think you need, and storage, is a big beautiful wide open space just waiting to be filled with good food, good times, laughs and memories. So clean out that old basement, and transform your home and your family with a home theatre.
